About the song
Lyrically, the song describes the painful experience of a woman who finds a striking resemblance between her current lover and a past, unforgettable love. The lyrics reveal her struggle to reconcile the present with the past, as every gesture, every look, and every touch from her new partner evokes the memory of the one who is no longer there.
Design Concept
The animation for “you look so much like him”, characterizes the figure of that unforgettable love as a mask, which takes on a life of its own, following with its eyes those with whom it is compared, and becomes the protagonist of the scene.
The visual should be slow, but kinetic, with slow transitions within the scenographic context in which it was designed to reflect the rhythm of the ballad.
Despite the extension of the screen, we decided to leave the action in the center to give it the prominence that, according to the brief, this unforgettable love has within the song.
In order for the backdrop to completely reflect the beat of the song, we designed changes of lights and colors.
